This one caught fans by surprise. Metallica shared dates for an upcoming 2023 World Tour, which features 22 cities around the world starting in April 2023. The band will play two shows per city, with two different set lists and different bands between the nights. Depending on the show you attend, you might see Five Finger Death Punch, Ice Nine Kills, Pantera, Mammoth WVH, Volbeat, Great Van Fleet and Architects.
The announcement came after the band was inspired by the dedication of the fans who traveled to see their very few shows over the past couple of years. In addition to two day tickets, there are multiple enhanced experience packages available for purchase on that can be found here. The packages range in price, offering a variety of different experiences, such as a meet and greet with 2 band members or a production and stage tour. The Snake Pit will now be located in the center of the stage, giving fans a 360 view of the show.
Ticket presales began on November 29th with tickets going on sale to the public Friday December 2nd. If you can’t make it two nights, there will be single night tickets available January 30th, 2023.
