Are you ready for this? Steel Panther have announced a World Tour, new music and a new video.
The band released their second single off of their 6th album, “On The Prow”, which will be available February 24, 2023. Fans will take a trip back in time with new single “1987”. Here’s what the band had to say about their latest song ““1987” is a reflective look at one of the greatest years in rock music supported by unforgettable hooks, relatable lyrics and fretboard fireworks.”
The band also released the official music video for “1987” which shows young teens looking through an abandoned recording studio. They uncover and plug in a 1987 pedal (which can be found here) and are then transported back to 1987. The video continues with footage of Steel Panther recording the song in the studio, until the teen comes back to reality and takes this magical pedal with him. The music video can be found below:
The band also announced a World Tour for 2023 in celebration of their latest release. The”On The Prowl” tour kicks off in February and runs across 31 cities North America until April. The band then hits the road in the United Kingdom and Ireland in May. Crobot and Tragedy will be supporting the band on their North American dates.
