Austin John Winkler releases single “The Dance Song”

Austin John Winkler, former Hinder frontman, has released his latest single titled “The Dance Song”. The video was produced by Knox Studios, and follows the singer’s latest release called “Carry On”.

The singer officially left Hinder back in 2013 and has gone on to pursue his solo career since then. Austin released an EP in 2016 called Love Sick Radio, which he went to perform on tour in 2017. In 2021 Austin’s addiction took a turn for the worst, and he was diagnosed with liver and kidney failure, with doctors only giving him weeks to live. During that time, doctors took Austin off of dialysis due to his improvement, and the first thing he did was record a track called “SuperJaded”. SuperJaded was Austin’s first release after getting his health back, and was available to fans January 2022.

Since then Austin has released multiple singles such as “Phoneline”, “American Dreams” and “Carry On”. No official word yet on when Austin plans to release a full album or more music, but the good news is Austin has overcome his addiction and is back to his love of music.
