Revolution Saints new single and video for “Need Each Other”

Rock supergroup Revolution Saints have released their second single with the recently announced new lineup. The track is called “Need Each Other” and follows their single “Eagle Flight” which was released back in November.

The lineup consists of Dean Castronovo (Journey) on vocals/drums, and the new lineup consists of Joel Hoekstra (Whitesnake, Night Ranger) on guitar and Jeff Pilson (Foreigner, Dokken) on bass. The band has also announced that they will be releasing a new album in the spring of 2023. This will be the group’s fifth studio album, following the release of “Rise” in 2020.

The new lineup announcement was revealed back in October, which followed the departure of guitarist Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio) and bassist Jack Blades (Night Ranger). Dean Castronovo is now the only original member of the band.

The group originally formed in 2014 by Serafino Perugino, who is the president of independent record label Frontiers Music srl, with the idea to form a band that would showcase Dean Castronovo’s voice. Dean had been doing background vocals as the drummer for Journey and fans came to recognize he had vocal talent as well. Perugino had previously worked with Castronovo, Aldrish and Blades on projects under Frontier, so it was the perfect mix for him to form the supergroup.
