The band is back with another taste from their upcoming album “72 Seasons” with a new single titled “Screaming Suicide”. The band released the track and official music video on the same day, and noted the video was also directed by Tim Saccenti, who directed “Lux Æterna”.
James Hetfield on the new single, “‘Screaming Suicide’ addresses the taboo word of suicide. The intention is to communicate about the darkness we feel inside. It’s ridiculous to think we should deny that we have these thoughts. At one point or another, I believe most people have thought about it. To face it is to speak the unspoken. If it’s a human experience, we should be able to talk about it. You are not alone.”
72 Seasons will be released on April 14th and can be preordered here. The band is heading out on the road this summer for the M72 World Tour, which include two night tickets as well as single day tickets.
