Shinedown release official video for “Dead Don’t Die”

The chart topping rockers have released the official video for their hard and heavy single “Dead Don’t Die”, the third single off of their latest album “Planet Zero”.

The video shows the band with different sharp objects pointing at them but due to their strength they are able to push the objects away from them. The band jams out with strong vocals, a rockin’ guitar solo and heavy drums.

The song was written by guitarist Zach Myers as a declaration of survival and an anthem about the resilience of the human spirit. The track was written about vocalist Brent Smith, and how he’s always come back up even after being at his lowest point. Myers says about the video, “I hope everyone feels something when they listen to it. I hope it makes you feel like you can run through a brick wall.”

Planet Zero is band’s seventh studio album released in July 2022, and follows their 2018 release of “Attention Attention”. Planet Zero topped all four Billboard rock album charts on the week of its release and also topped the all-genre Billboard Top Album Sales chart. The band went out on a world tour in support of Planet Zero this past year, with special guests Jelly Roll and John Harvie.

The band is set to play the 2023 Blue Ridge Rock Festival in September. Tickets can be purchased here. You can order the album “Planet Zero” here.
