In addition to the headlining tour, the band will be playing multiple major rock festivals as well such as Welcome to Rockville, Inkcarceration, Rocklahoma, Louder Than Life, Aftershock and more. Fans also have the chance to catch Pantera on Metallica’s North American leg of the M72 World Tour, with Pantera as support on specific dates. The headlining tour with Lamb of God is scheduled around the select Metallica dates.
Original members Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown will be joined by Zakk Wylde (guitar) and Charlie Benante (drums) who will be filling in for late Abbott brothers (Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul). The new lineup played its first show in 21 years at the Hell and Heaven festival in Mexico on December 2, 2022.
Lamb of God released their eleventh studio album titled “Omens” on October 2022. The band also put together a short film of the recording process of their latest album, which fans were able to stream through the band’s site through the month of October. The Making Of: Omens gave fans a behind the scenes look at the band’s creative process for the album. The band will also be playing Upheaval Fest this summer.
