The nu metal band has released an EP titled “Requiem Mass”, which falls almost a year ago from their latest album release. The EP features 5 live performances from the Requiem Mass livestream event which took place last year.
As a part of their Requiem Mass EP release, the band premiered the live performances from the intimate ceremony on YouTube, which was originally only live streamed. The live performance took place on February 3rd, 2022 at the Hollywood United Methodist Church, featuring a candlelight stage and a gospel choir providing backing vocals.
The global livestream event was limited to 300 guests and honored “souls that had passed”, especially those lost during the COVID pandemic. To attend the event, all guests had to wear appropriate black funeral attire and were asked to bring item of remembrance to honor a loved one who has passed to leave in the casket as part of the ceremony.
For those who don’t know, Requiem is a mass for the remembrance of the dead.
