Travis Barker revealed a couple weeks ago that he injured his finger while in rehearsals for Blink 182’s upcoming tour. Well fans got the bad news Wednesday when Tom Delonge made an announcement on social media that the band has to postpone the Latin American dates due to Travis’ injury.
Delonge said the rescheduled dates will take place in 2024. The tour was set to kick off in Tijuana, Mexico on March 11th. The North American set of dates is set to start on May 4th.
Travis recently went through surgery for his finger, claiming the torn ligament in his finger had to be fixed surgically so that his finger doesn’t dislocate again. The rocker tweeted that he needs time to heal and will come back when he is 100%.
Blink 182 announced back in October that they would be heading out on the road for a world tour for the first time in nearly 10 years. The track “Edging” was released on October 14th, 2022 and was the band’s first release with Tom Delonge since his departure from the band in 2015. On an Instagram post from Decemeber, Delonge suggested the new album will be coming out in a few months. So far no release date or title yet.
