Nita Strauss return’s to Alice Cooper’s band

Nita Strauss announced that she’ll be back on the road with shock rocker Alice Cooper this year, starting with the first shows in April. This past year Nita was out on the road with Demi Lovato as a part of her live touring band.

Nita is joining Alice for the “Too Close for Comfort” tour which kicks off in April as well as some stadium tour dates with Motley Crue and Def Leppard. Alice will also be out on the road this summer with Rob Zombie for the “Freaks on Parade” tour.

Nita has been with Alice Cooper for eight years and took the opportunity with Demi to try something new. Nita went out on tour with Demi last year in support of her rock album “Holy Fvck” and appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last July as a part of Demi’s all female band for her single called “Substance”.

During Nita’s absence, Alice had former guitarist Kane Roberts fill in and marked his first time back playing with Alice since the 80’s. Nita will be joining Demi on stage March 18th for a performance in Dubai at the Coca-Cola arena.

Nita will also be dropping a new single from her upcoming solo album this month, which will feature a guest appearance. The single will follow the instrumental track she released in August titled “Summer Storm” and will be on her second studio album which comes out this year.
