Foo Fighters confirm they will continue as a band after Taylor Hawkins death

The Foo Fighters made a post on social media yesterday clarifying the future of the band and where things currently stand after the traumatic loss of their dummer Taylor Hawkins. Fans have been wondering what the future holds for the band after going trough such a tragic loss.

The band explained how difficult the past year was after going through the sudden loss of Taylor, and how the band was formed to represent the healing power of music and a continuation of life. With that being said, they recognize the band will no longer be the same without Taylor, but they want to continue to give back to their fans. They concluded the statement by giving a brief confirmation that they will be performing for fans again, with Taylor there in spirit, but no word on when they have plans for a show or who will be the new drummer.

Taylor Hawkins passed away suddenly on March 25, 2022 in Columbia, where the band was set to play a festival as a part of their South America tour. Taylor had complained of chest pain and was then declared dead once he was found unresponsive in his hotel room. The band has performed two tribute concerts this past year in honor of Hawkins, one in London and another in Los Angeles.
