Noah Weiland, the son of the late Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland, has released his latest track titled “Good Riddance & Goodbye”. The single features alternative rap artist Slayloverboy and has a pop punk/emo rap style to it. The song seems to reflect on a past relationship that ended due to drug use.
Noah continues to find his voice as he creates his own path as a solo artist. While you can hear the similarity of his voice to his dad’s, the singer has evolved with his own sound and aims to create his own style without comparison to his famous dad.
Back in June of 2022, Noah released his debut solo EP titled “Last Kiss Before Detox”. The EP featured three track titled “Breakup Song”, “I Love You”, and “One Day”.
Noah was previously in a band called Suspect208, which also included rockstar sons such as London Hudson (son of Guns N’ Roses’ Slash) and Tye Trujillo (son of Metallica’s Robert Trujillo). Noah parted ways with the group in 2021 and then the band officially called it quits a few months later, leading members to pursue other projects.
Noah has previously talked about his struggle with drug addiction and how he has worked to overcome it. He is focusing on his own solo project right now and continues to release new music.
The track can be found on multiple platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.
