Avenged Sevenfold have announced a long awaited tour announcement after revealing they are dropping a new album this year. The band announced the first leg of the “Life Is But A Dream” tour which takes place this summer. The tour features Alexisonfire as support and kicks off in July.
Avenged Sevenfold led up to their new music announcement with cryptic posts for fans and finally made the announcement last month after a countdown video on YouTube. The band released their first track “Nobody” with a music video filmed in stop motion style to go along with it. They also confirmed the new album “Life Is But A Dream” will be released June 2nd, which marks the first new album in seven years.
In addition to the “Life Is But A Dream” tour, the band will be playing two major shows this summer with Falling in Reverse and Pussy Riot as support. The first one takes place at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, CA on June 9th and Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY on June 23rd.
Avenged Sevenfold offered a special presale for members of the Deathbat Club by using Ticketmaster’s new Token-Gated Sales platform. Tickets are currently on sale to the general public and you can find the full list of dates and ticket info here.
